Bespoke Built-In Culinary Workspace
A comprehensive down-to-the-framing transformation of a residential kitchen. Following a complete structural gut, we designed and built a highly efficient culinary space featuring custom floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, premium stone workspaces, and flawless appliance integration.
About This Project
This project highlights our systematic approach to complex interior strip-outs and high-end build-backs. Taking the room down to bare Timber-Frame during the demolition phase allowed us to realign the plumbing and electrical systems perfectly before building back an extraordinarily clean, optimized layout. Perimeter Workspace & Custom Fine Woodwork: The new footprint maximizes wall space by wrapping the perimeter with crisp shaker cabinets engineered all the way to the ceiling line for a flush, built-in appearance. Deep, continuous countertops provide food prep zones that center beautifully around an under-mounted farmhouse apron sink. To break up the white tones and ground the architecture, we seamlessly built rich, dark-stained open wooden shelving directly into the upper cabinet layout, offering a handsome design anchor. Seamless Appliance Integration & Spatial Finish: With the utilities reworked post-demolition, we flush-mounted a professional-grade gas cooktop and integrated a stainless steel French-door refrigerator directly into the custom millwork. A classic white tile backsplash lines the entire working wall surface, bouncing light through the open-concept layout. The renovation is tied together with premium wide-plank flooring, presenting a fully resurrected space that balances classic culinary utility with clean craftsmanship.
