Four-Season Mountain Retreat & Sunroom Addition
This ambitious renovation transformed an existing exterior footprint into a stunning, multi-level four-season retreat, perfectly blending mountain rustic charm with modern elegance. The Upper Dining Porch: The upper level was enclosed to create a bright, airy dining and creative space. We installed a crisp white tongue-and-groove vaulted ceiling, accented by striking, exposed natural wood beams that draw the eye upward. Custom rustic sliding barn doors were added to seamlessly separate the interior spaces while maintaining a cohesive farmhouse aesthetic. Expansive, black-framed windows wrap the room, flooding the space with natural light and bringing the beauty of the North Georgia woods indoors. The Lower Sunroom & Lounge: On the lower level, we designed a cozy yet spacious sunroom built for both relaxation and active living. A rich, dark-stained wood ceiling provides a striking contrast to the clean, horizontal white shiplap walls. The space is anchored by luxury wood-look flooring that handles high traffic with ease. Whether lounging by the fire pit table or using the home fitness area, the wall-to-wall windows ensure you never lose the connection to the outdoors. Exterior Integration: From the outside, the addition was meticulously crafted to look as though it was always part of the original architecture. The clean white siding is sharply contrasted by bold black window casings and trim, creating a timeless, high-end exterior that perfectly complements the surrounding landscape and the home's striking stone chimney.
