About This Project
This bathroom overhaul centers on the precise balance between large-scale architectural surfacing and intricate mosaic artistry. By stripping the shower area to its core, we created a clean, modern envelope that prioritizes both high-end aesthetics and a personalized, multi-sensory bathing experience. Slab-Style Geometry & Mosaic Detailing: The shower walls are finished in expansive, large-format tiles that showcase dramatic veining, creating a clean, seamless visual effect that makes the stall feel exceptionally open. This sharp, large-scale geometry is grounded by a mosaic tile floor pan, which adds a complex, tactile rhythm to the design. We built matching stone shelving directly into the wall structure, providing a flush-integrated storage solution that maintains the clean, minimalist lines of the tile work. Engineered Waterfall Hydration: Functionality is at the heart of this design. We installed a bespoke dual-fixture configuration that includes a traditional wall-mounted shower head for daily utility, paired with a sophisticated, ceiling-mounted waterfall fixture that delivers a full-coverage, rain-inspired experience. The clean plumbing layout and strategic valve placement ensure that the waterfall feature remains a hidden, architectural centerpiece, allowing the beautifully aligned stone veining to remain the primary visual focus.
